Rondo’s second All-Star season would see the Celtics finish with the 3 seed as they won 56 games. Rondo’s scoring took a slight hit as he averaged 10.6 PPG. His assists and rebounding would hold steady as they sat at 11.2 APG and, 4.4 RPG. Assist percentage would climb again as he finished his 5th season at 47.1%.

The following post-season would see Boston fall in the Conference Semifinals as they lost in 5 games to the stacked Miami Heat. In the 9 games, the Celtics played in the 2011 Playoffs Rondo averaged 14 PPG, 9.6 APG and 5.4 RPG. His assist percentage would take a slight hit, dropping down 4.8% to 42.3%. His best game of the short playoff run would come in Game 3 of the First Round against the New York Knicks. He would finish the heavy victory with 15 points, 20 assists and 11 rebounds.

As for the ’10-’11 season, Rondo seemed to struggle to not only carry his good form from the season before through to the new one, but he also struggled to raise his game in the Playoffs. The aging core of the Celtics was beginning to get in the way.
