The 3 Young Lakers Who Could Shine in Orlando

So, it can not be argued that there are definitely some promising young players coming out of the South Bay Lakers, a true credit to all within the organisation.

Talen Horton-Tucker showed true potential as a defender and playmaker at ISU. Something he has only built upon in his time within the Lakers care. If he can develop his shooting and become a respectable catch and shoot threat he could become a key piece for the Lakers in the future.

Kostas Antetokounmpo left college as an extremely raw athlete. In the 2 years he has spent in the NBA he has developed himself into a true double-double threat at the G-League level. If he can continue to develop at that pace he will very quickly become a weapon on both ends of the floor at the NBA level.

Devontae Cacok finished his fourth year at UNC Wilmington with very little possibility of making a career in the NBA. Since, he has increased his stock tenfold and is now a valuable asset for the South Bay Lakers. An opportunity on the NBA stage is all Cacok is waiting for to prove how hungry he is to better himself as a player and make himself a valuable asset on the worlds biggest basketball stage.

It is more than clear that Frank Vogel is spoilt for choice once he looks passed his current rotation. 3 players that have already fought for the respect that they have earned, and are eager to make a name for themselves at the next level.
